As India's information technology progresses at a rapid pace, we are now in a situation where it is not only the efficiency that is being compromised, but also the privacy of the citizen. With the growing use of the Internet and mobile applications, our personal information is being shared with the various service providers, resulting in a loss of privacy. This has resulted in a lot of people getting annoyed with the way in which their personal information is being handled, and this is why there is a need for a solution to this problem.

The Right To Information Act, 2005 (RTIA) was introduced in the Indian Parliament in 2005. The main objective of the act is to empower the citizens, to promote transparency and accountability in the working of the government, to contain corruption, and to make India's democracy work for the people in real sense.

The basic object of the Right To Information Act is to give the people information about the activities of the government, to promote the concept of transparency, and to make the government more accountable to the people.
